Maneuvering the Path to Clean Green (Products!)

You're all in -- Only thing is, you're not sure where to start or whom to trust. Trust us, We've been there! It can be so overwhelming to think, "Where do I begin?" and "What companies should I trust?" (p.s. you might even wonder, "Are the products that I use already really that bad?!") You could be tempted to throw in the towel and stick with your mass-marketed 'trusted' products.. But don't give up ladies because we've done ALL the research & testing for you! Which means, it's officially time to Ditch & Switch!

The Truth on Harmful, Hidden Ingredients

The bottom line: "There's no real standard for "natural" or "organic" cosmetics, either," says Jane Houlihan, vice president for research at the Environmental Working Group. Terms don't provide consumers with any real guarantees about a product's ingredients. The Truth is that there's no standard, enforceable definition of a "non-toxic" or "environmentally friendly" or "pure." Between preservatives that include parabens to "fragrance" which can be considered a trade secret, and quats in cleaning products consumers are left throwing their hands up in defeat and often times getting hoodwinked by marketing. Luckily, we've done the work for you!
