TRUTH | Step aside, jade roller. There's a new sculpting tool in town!

BEAUTY | Called the Eastern Facelift (you won't need Botox after all!), Gua Sha is used in traditional Chinese medicine known to have numerous benefits. Aids in sculpting and firming facial muscles; reduces wrinkles; smooths the skin; improves dark under eye circles and puffiness around the eye (YES, please!); diminishes acne, rosacea and other facial skin conditions.

Gua Sha has been practiced in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Perfected throughout the centuries, this Gua Sha tool was created to have a firming, lifting and sculpting effect on the skin. Aid in the feeling of puffiness, undereye bags, chisel and sculpt cheekbones and the brightness of your skin.

"I am so excited to bring this fountain-of-youth beauty tool to my purists and friends. And nothing makes me happier when someone reports back, omg. That thing works! Selfishly, I love to use the Gua Sha for my face and my sore joints!"

Watch our IGTV video tutorial on how to sculpt your skin, jawline and neck with our White Jade Gua Sha.

Gua Sha is a natural healing remedy and is safe. However, it is not supposed to be painful while rubbing or scraping the skin so as not to effect the blood vessels near the surface of the skin. For the face use Well & Glow while applying pressure and follow the guide in our BLOG and  IGTV for specific strokes. It is safe to do daily. For the body, use the longer edge and best paired with Be Chill to work out tension, release the mayafascia. Always stroke towards the lymphatic exit points. When using the Gua Sha it should not hurt and it is best to use opposite hand to hold skin taut.

  1. Keep in the fridge and use during AM and PM skincare routines.
  2. Start with a clean face and prep skin with a facial oil or serum.
  3. Keep the tool flat against the face and begin with the forehead. Scrape in an upwards motion from the eyebrows to the hairline.
  4. Move to the cheeks and scrape in an outwards motion starting from the crease of the nose to the ear.
  5. Move to the jawline and use the end of the Gua Sha tool with the two curves. Start from the chin and scrape to the ear. Gently massage the Gua Sha tool into the ear to release tension.
  6. For the under-eye area, very gently scrape the Gua Sha from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple. Because the area is so sensitive, it is important to only apply light pressure.
  7. Bring down the neck and collarbone to help with lymphatic drainage.
