Authenticity, Freedom, and YOU

I wanted to take a minute (‘cuz I have a lot of spare ones) to send you a note to say simply and authentically, “THANK YOU!”….BUT as I was sitting putting my small hands and short fingernails to the key board, I realized I had way more to say than just “thank you” and “I am grateful”. I wanted to talk about how far we have come in just 2 quick, lightspeed, race-car fast years, and how YOU are the reason behind this all. Also, how we have had so many setbacks and so many triumphs and a chance for real opportunity to grow (I mean have you seen our amazing skincare line, our soaps , beauty tools and the curated section called The Edit ?!) but we are grateful for them because that has shaped our IDENTITY in the end…..

IDENTITY

Who we are ? We pride ourselves in being authentic. The trusted source, a positive image of how health, wellness, and beauty look differently on each of us.

Setbacks this year ? We have learned so much about what YOU want. And what you don’t. So that’s a plus. Our website crash. Our over stay in River Oaks District. Delay in product arrival. BUT, like most things, they happen for a reason so we are always trying to readjust our expectations.

What energizes Team Switch ? People and sharing our message with YOU!

What are some standout things in 2019 ? We had hundreds of makeup and mini facial skincare appointments, countless functional nutrition counseling appointments, had 75 gatherings (pop ups, parties or events) with over 1300+ people in attendance. We followed the wind and chased our dream to take our mission of creating a tribe of wellness focused ‘Purists’ to the ends of the earth. We traveled to over 15 cities to meet with people and took our goodies to over 8 countries. We posted over 390 Instagram posts and 4500 stories ( that stuff takes time!), and over 25 IGTVs , and over 50 blogs - #ThePureTruth . We relaunched a crashed website Switch2Pure.com in just 1 month (thanks #teamswitch and still more to edit!), we decided to stick around the River Oak District until December 30 ^th, just so you knew where to find us. We finally found a permanent home (insert happy dance), OH AND we launched our VERY own collection filled with the most amazing performance-based natural skincare . So, I would say the last year has been the biggest evolution or pivot yet and we couldn’t be MORE proud. So to say I am grateful to YOU, who inspires me thru the hard times (let’s be honest, sometimes unbearable days of growing pains) is an understatement. YOU are the reason. You are the impetus. You are the breath of new energy we need every single day to continue our mission! So, thank you feels a little gratuitous. What I really want to say, “is you ARE Switch2Pure. You are the very reason for it all”! And because of knowing you are there, it gives us such freedom, peace and true gratitude. (PS – did you notice this paragraph was so much longer than the setbacks)

Greatest Adventure ? For Switch2Pure meeting with such amazing beauty executives, writers, and general boss babes (and bossmen) who wake up every day to change the world. For me, traveling the globe with my 2 favorite little gentlemen!

What Surprised Me this past year ? For Switch2Pure, that I could get SO depleted. SO drained. SO tired. And, then get back in the game again! For me, that I would also pull my achilles post knee surgery and have such along recovery and struggles. Thank goodness for our nutraceuticals and Wellness program !

Best part of a typical day ? For Switch2Pure, meeting with old friends and new friends at the store or events and actually talking skincare , wellness and more! I love connecting with other humans about being a mom, autoimmune, or general life hacks. For me, driving carpool. I just love that time with my boys in the afternoon!
