It’s getting hot in here! Why infrared sauna you might ask! It has some pretty cool benefits….Infrared light is part of the sun’s invisible spectrum. It can penetrate the human tissue. It’s even used to heat newborn babies in the hospital it’s so gentle. Those who are traditionally sensitive to heat can generally tolerate infrared sauna heat very well. Part of humans everyday bodily processes, far infrared waves are sent and received. These waves range from waves 6 to 20 microns. The optimal range output micron output range being 7 - 14 incredibly close to a water molecule. Our bodies are almost 70% water. "Vital Rays" (this range is sometimes referred to) appears to have very positive effects on the body. Why? When infrared heat is applied to water molecules these molecules begin to vibrate and the ion bonds eventual breakdown, encapsulated gases and other toxic materials (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic) are then released. Heating the body and penetrating deeply the congestion found in the joints, muscles, tissue, oxygen ultimately increases circulation and that in turn, helps with:
A 2018 study found that doing regular saunas improves heart function, reduces the risk of heart disease by as much as 58%, and reducing blood pressure. National cancer institute mentions that near-infrared photoimmunotherapy is used to swell, heat and burst cancer cells. This photoimmunotherapy is in clinical trials for people with inoperable tumors. 3-4 Saunas per week are recommended and increasing your water intake is critical to help the body continue to flush the toxins.
