Travel Guide: Paris, France

Bonjour!

I wanted to share a few travel tips for our purists who are always on the go. I often get the chance to spend time in Paris. It is a magical city with a certain air about it that you only find in Paris. My favorite things to do are to go to the museums, shop, sip a spirit with friends, and enjoy the markets. I love Paris in June and in September. The weather is exceptional!!

Where to stay:

Paris is made of Districts of Arrondissements. Staying in a convenient district will help cut down on travel time. Luckily (for the moment) car services like Uber work, so, it is pretty easy to get around!

Obviously, there are many options at every price point, but the most important thing to keep in mind is what district you are in!

L’Avenue – great people watching similar to The Ivy.

Lunch or dinner is always hot at Hotel Costes.

Carrette great terrace and amazing breakfast or brunch even café

Loulou for lunch or dinner very nice if nice weather you can sit outside in the middle of the Louvre good vibe

Helmut Newcake – the best assortment of gluten-free (and much dairy free) baguettes, traditional sandwiches, eclairs and more! LOVED this spot and great little shopping in the area.

Where to have dinner:

Caviar Kaspia is by far, the best Russian restaurant I've ever been too! It's very trendy, a great crowd, with fashionable people!

Stresa is the best Italian, it's a small place but another great, fun crowd!

Ferdi (behind Hotel Costes) has great tapas and good food for a cool, chill night. You do need to make a reservation because it's always full and a very small place!

Bar de la Croix Rouge has the best tartines (open faced sandwiches)

Café de Flore on Blvd St. Germain

Le Flandrin has the best outside terrace, come here when the weather is stunning!

Kinugawa Vendôme is best Japanese behind Rue de Ponthieu good for lunch or dinner

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon Saint-Germain always great for dinner but no reservation

Manko Paris dinner then club with Saks player. Very fun.

Le Petit Lutetia in St. Germain for dinner

La Belle Époque for dinner

Monsieur Bleu has a great terrace and view!

Gluten free options in Paris, France

Ralph’s is great for when you're craving an America cheeseburger.

Shopping:

Avenue des Champs Elysees – most famous and where the Arc de Triomphe is!

Boulevard Haussman – Gallarie Lafayette and Printemps (my personal fave)

Rue Saint Honore + Avenue Montagna (very 5^th avenue)

Montaigne Market + Avenue Matignon

Avenue Montaigne – Similar to 5^th Ave.

Raspoutine

In the 6 ^th arrondissement St. Germain there is great shopping area where you will find a lot of shops like Maison Kitsune, Le Coq Sport. Boulevards Saint Michel and Saint Germain relaxed and fun.

Besides Shopping:

Roland Garros is an amazing venue to watch tennis. Intimate, close to town and great clay court. The entire grounds are filled with flowers….the experience is second to none.
