Makeup Tip of the Week - We are taking queues from our very own #NaturalBeauty Ashley Prange for the chicest evening holiday look - the Red Lip is a must! Lips extra dry? Don't forget to use Crush On to nourish, works as the perfect base!
Here is How to do a Perfect Red Lip in 3 Easy Steps!
Our Fave Red Lippie Products:
Saint Cardinal Sin Red OR New York Lipstick
Lily Lolo Vegan Lipstick in UndressedLily Lolo Lip Pencil in Ruby Red
1). Start by lining the lip. We recommend you start with a sharpened Perfect Match Spanish Rose Lip Liner, dotting the two high points of your Cupid's bow and the bottom center of your lower lip...then connect the three!
2). Next, fill in your lip with your fave red lipstick!
3). Adding High Lustre Lip Gloss in Dusty Crimson as a final touch for some extra shine in the center of your pucker for the final touch.
Thanks for the tips Ashley! As well as Au Naturale, we carry several other nontoxic lippies! Be sure to check out our blog post where we swatch every single lip! SHOP NOW!
PURE TRUTH: When you're looking for a natural and non-toxic highly pigmented red lip, the important ingredient to keep your eyes peeled for is "Carmine". Typically, bold red coloration is thanks to Carmine, but it is actually a common allergen and bi-product of tortured beetles. The lines we carry are vegan and cruelty free, which means no carmine and no nasty allergic reaction to this unwelcome pigment!
PURE TRUTH: Best news about Switch2Pure curated makeup is that we carefully vet the makeup we carry on our website! They are cleared and free of hundreds of harmful chemicals and they are non-toxic, gluten free, vegan, cruelty free, and high performance. Plus, organic free of parabens, nano-particles, carmine, gluten, and sulfates.
Red not for you? We've got plenty of others to choose from! Head to our BLOG POST for every single swatch!
