My name is Julie Rehme and I am the Founder of Calo's Closet, a lifestyle blog. I started my blog about 7 years ago because one of the things I was asked most from my friends is how I put together outfits. It eventually evolved into something much more, but is still a creative outlet for me. I moved to Houston with my husband about 6 years ago and we love being in a big city with so many opportunities and places to explore.
Why did you make the switch?
I am always looking for the best products for my skin, and I love that Switch2Pure offers a wide range of amazing skin products with clean ingredients (want to know more about clean ingredients- find them here!) so you know what you are putting on your skin.
Who is your favorite influencer or source?
I have a lot of favorite influencers but I would say a few of my top ones are Katey McFarlan - Chronicles of Frivolity and Kathleen Barnes - Carrie Bradshaw Lied.
Fave fashion statement or pieces?
I love a layered gold necklace as a statement piece right now. I feel like this is such a classic piece that can go with almost any outfit to give it a more elevated look.
Fave vacation spot?
Gulf Shores, AL because it is where we got married and the beaches are beautiful but not as crowded as some of the other popular beach destinations.
Fave Switch2Pure skincare items?
Some of my favorite items are the Well & Glow Rejuvenating Facial Oil and Switch2Pure Good & Glow Body Oil.
Fave Switch2Pure beauty products?
My favorite beauty product is the Switch2Pure Heart Konjac Sponge. I love using this sponge to wash my face and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and refreshed.
Fave facial treatment?
I haven't gotten a chance to try out their facial treatments yet but I am excited to hopefully try it out soon! I really want to try the Glow & Glam!
Fave body/wellness treatment/products?
I love getting spray tans at Switch2Pure! The tan looks so natural and I love that you don't feel sticky afterwards. Plus there are some amazing ingredients that are great for your skin in the tanning solution like the Be Glowy!
Fave small business to support?
I am always looking for small businesses to support and I love that Houston has so many! I always try to support as many small businesses as I can.
Why do you love Switch2Pure?
I love Switch2Pure because they have the best clean products (and share which ones are toxic) and I love that they listen to your skin concerns and find the best products and solution for you.
