Watch Out for Talc!

Watch Out for Talc!

Posted by Estela Cockrell

Talc is a mineral used in most highlighters and cosmetics. The only way for you to know if products are free of asbestos (found in talc) is if manufacturers use talc that is tested and certified as asbestos-free. However, one type of asbestos known as tremolite was found in cosmetic talcum powders labeled “tremolite-free,” suggesting that this approach is not foolproof. Asbestos ends up in makeup because of poor regulations involving cosmetic-grade talc, which is also known as talcum powder.

OUR highlightersbronzersblushes and other cosmetics are heavily researched to be TALC FREE so you aren't putting your skin and self at risk.

Check out our blog here for more info on mass marketed makeup that has TALC a no no in your beauty routine!
